Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney was born Amal Ramzi Alamuddin is an English-Lebanese barrister, human rights activist and philanthropist. When she graduated from Oxford University School of Law she pursued a successful and long-lasting professional career within human rights and international law. Her most famous clients include various nations, including Armenia who are trying to convince the Turkish government to acknowledge that there was an Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney got engaged to American actor George Clooney to marry him in 2014. The couple instantly became a household-name in popular culture. Prior to this, she was previously been a well-known name in the legal world for her ability to represent clients. Her activities range from the tackling of human rights and justice concerns to representing multinational corporations during discussions and court proceedings regarding government regulation. From 2015 onwards, she was a barrister at British courts at Doughty Street Chambers.
