Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks (born April 15 1997) is an American actress best recognized for her role as Joan Holloway during the first seven seasons of the historical drama on AMC's Mad Men. The show brought her six Emmy nominations, including best supporting actor and critical praise. In her career till now that spans more than two decades she has also been recognized for her role as a character in the upcoming legal drama Kevin Hill comedy series Another Period crime-drama series Tin Star and comedy-crime series Good Girls. Her performances are noted in films like Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River as well as the Neon Demon, The Strangers : Prey at Night Egg as well as American Woman. She has also provided her voice for animations such as From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 or Scoob! Before that, she was working as a model. She continued with it for quite a while before her first appearance in the television show Undressed which premiered in the year 1999. Her first major role in the comedy-drama series Beggars and Choosers. After the show, she was recognized for her role on Firefly. Esquire magazine honoured her with the title of sexiest as well as best-looking American woman for 2010, in their annual survey.
